How to Create a Character Style in Photoshop
Character styles in Photoshop allow you to quickly apply the same formatting to multiple pieces of text. Creating a character style is a simple process that can save you time when formatting text. Here’s how to create a character style in Photoshop:
Step 1: Format the Text
The first step is to format the text with the desired formatting. To do this, open the Control panel and click the Character Formatting Controls ( ) icon. From the Font Style menu, choose Semibold and then click Small Caps ( ).
Step 2: Create the Character Style
Now that the text is formatted, you’ll create a new character style. Choose New Character Style from the Character Styles panel menu.
Step 3: Name the Character Style
Name the character style in the New Character Style dialog box. This will make it easier to identify the style later.
Step 4: Apply the Character Style
Once the character style is created, you can apply it to any text you want. To do this, select the text and then click the character style in the Character Styles panel. The text will now be formatted with the character style.
