Why Aren’t My Glyphs Showing Up?
Glyphs are special characters that are used to add a unique touch to your designs. But sometimes, you may find that your glyphs are not showing up after you paste them into your design. If this is the case, there are a few things you can do to troubleshoot the issue.
Check the Font
If you don’t see a glyph after pasting, this means that the glyph doesn’t exist in the font. To fix this, you’ll need to select a glyph layer and select a different font in the Figma properties panel or use the Change Font plugin.
Check the Glyphs
If you’re still not seeing the glyphs, it’s possible that the glyphs you’re trying to use are not supported by the font. To check this, you can look up the font’s glyphs in the Glyphs panel. If the glyphs you’re trying to use are not listed, then the font does not support them.
Check the Character Map
If you’re still having trouble finding the glyphs you need, you can try using the Character Map. This is a tool that allows you to search for and insert special characters and symbols into your design.
Check the Unicode
Finally, if you’re still not seeing the glyphs you need, you can try searching for them using their Unicode. Unicode is a universal character encoding system that allows you to search for characters by their code.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot any issues you’re having with glyphs not showing up in your design.
